HADEAL (Humanitarian Association for Development, Empowerment, Assistance and Learning) is a non-profit association established by the Maronite Patriarchate on June 30, 2023. The Maronite Patriarchate supervises the association’s humanitarian and social work, which is tangible to the teaching of the Bible and church laws. The association relies on divine providence, which translates into the help of philanthropists, whether individuals or institutions, to carry out its mission. HADEAL’s mission includes receiving poor people in its main center in Adma and caring for them on the humanitarian, social and health levels with a professional team. The mission also includes distributing available food, clothing, and other items to those in need.

HI is an independent and impartial aid organisation working in situations of poverty and exclusion, conflict and disaster. We work alongside people with disabilities and vulnerable populations, taking action and bearing witness in order to respond to their essential needs, improve their living conditions and promote respect for their dignity and fundamental rights. On January 24th 2018, the global Handicap International network became Humanity & Inclusion.This network is composed of a Federation which implements our programmes in the field in around sixty countries and of eight national associations.

Human of Tomorrow is a Lebanese non-governmental organization dedicated to empowering underserved communities through sustainability, development, and skill-building.

Humans without Borders (HWB) creates programs that stem from the needs of the communities it serves and works on meeting those needs with sustainable planning and on a grassroots level. We only work on a volunteer basis to minimize operational costs in order to bring the full donations directly to the beneficiaries.

Humedica is an international non-governmental organization based in Kaufbeuren, Germany. Since 1979 humedica has been active in the field of humanitarian work with a focus on medical aid, operating projects in 90 countries around the world. Thanks to a voluntary team of highly qualified physicians, we are able to dispatch our teams on very short notice for highly efficient emergency and disaster relief operations. This commitment is complemented by medium- to long-term relief projects in the sector of development cooperation. Over 1000 medical professionals have volunteered to register for the humedica database. In addition, there are about 70 coordinators. As members of a voluntary team, all of them are willing and prepared to offer immediate help all over the world. At our headquarters in Kaufbeuren, we have approx. 30 full-time staff members and at times more than one hundred men and women are doing voluntary work. Furthermore, humedica receives support on a global level from volunteers, as well as local employees in the project countries. The objective of our international activities is to render aid to people in need by implementing purposeful relief measures and by utilizing any resources that are available.

The domains of work: Spreading knowledge:Spreading cultural and religious awareness through a library of more than 90,000 books, a school with more than 450 students, various publications, and periodic lectures. Charity WorkWe spread solidarity and assistance throughout the community by relief work, bread distribution, Zabiha and Adahi projects. We also support digging water wells and Masjid renovation. We also sponsor religious studies and provide interest free loans in addition to helping in psychological support and special education. Community serviceAdopting sustainable development goals and supporting our community through recycling and reusing projects, an employment office and organizing volunteering services. Zakat Management – RamadanChanneling zakat donations to those in need by providing them with Food portions, cooked meals, Eid clothes, and zaket fitr. In addition, we hold a number of Iftars. Zakat Management – Annual programWe manage Zakat funds throughout the year by distributing food portions, new and used clothes and house appliances, school books and stationary, sponsorship of orphans and families, in addition to medical assistance and student scholarships. Youth programsWe strive to raise a generation of leaders with the highest moral standards, ethics and independence through our carious youth programs: Ibad Al-Rahman Scouts Association, Ibad Sporting Club, Quran School. In addition, we hold summer and winter courses and hold Eid fairs during Fitr and Adha Holidays. Ibad Training CenterThe center offers training workshops in management, computer, vocational skills, education, social skills. In addition, the center holds language courses.

The International Catholic Migration Commission (ICMC) is an international non-governmental organization, whose mission is to protect and serve uprooted people, including refugees, asylum seekers, internally displaced people, victims of human trafficking, and migrants - regardless of faith, race, ethnicity or nationality. In collaboration with governmental and non-governmental partners, and through a worldwide network of members, ICMC implements and advocates for right-based policies and sustainable solutions to address global migration challenges. ICMC’s operations are aimed to respond to the needs of vulnerable individuals and communities, and focus on protection, humanitarian assistance, resettlement, migration and development. For four decades, ICMC has partnered with the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration to conduct refugee resettlement. Currently ICMC operates under a cooperative agreement with the Department of State (DOS), as a Resettlement Support Centre (RSC) and under a contract with European Asylum Support Office (EASO) to prepare eligible refugee for resettlement to US and European Union Member States. As part of this service, we work with several thousands of refugees and their families each year and take them through each stage of processing that is required for resettlement to the U.S.A. ICMC also has a suboffice in Beirut, Lebanon.

ICU is an NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) that realizes development cooperation projects in developing countries and promotes information and education activities about international solidarity. ICU started in 1966, from an idea of some Italian teachers, in order to promote, at international level, the education and the science, using two main ways:• Human and social development in developing countries through international cooperation programs, focusing on education.• Diffusion of the idea of international cooperation as promotion of human dignity.ICU realized more than 420 cooperation projects in 35 countries in South America, Africa, Mediterranean countries and Near East, Eastern Europe and Asia.The main intervention sectors are:• University cooperation• Professional education• Health and Hygiene• Rural development• Woman promotion• Social development• Emergencies

The Imam Sadr Foundation (ISF) is a local non-profit, non-governmental association, ISF has historically focused on improving access of the poor to their basic rights in social, health and educational services. It also has led efforts to promote tolerance and interaction between communities and religions.The Foundation is championing the development and empowering women in Lebanon, continuously raising the ceiling of their potential through evolving and innovative social services. We envisage a world free of ignorance, poverty, disease and conflict where each individual is invited to participate in the development of their own communities and enjoy equal rights regardless of their faith, gender or any other differences.Education is one of the major pillars of ISF’s current developmental programs. While pre-school, elementary and vocational education is directly provided by ISF, secondary and university education is ensured through the public education sector. The ISF Nursing School has enabled hundreds of graduates to find gainful employment and, hence, become economically independent. Other vocational training programs designed to meet market needs have scored similar success.The Health Department focuses on relatively remote areas. Mobile clinics and six dispensaries serve the most deprived population of the former frontline villages.ISF’s provisions for orphans and educational programs have helped to decrease deeply-rooted social and economic problems, such as family violence, absolute poverty, and dysfunctional families.Since its inception in the early sixties, the ISF has demonstrated commitment and involvement in addressing the short and long-term needs of women in relation to rights to education, health care and employment. The ISF’s direct interventions in this respect have been in the specific areas of literacy and education and care to orphans and children from ultra-poor families.ISF strives to foster and encourage understanding and interaction between communities and religions. As such, the Foundation has organized various inter-community events and has facilitated dialogue between people with differing views and stances.
