The RoleAs a Medior Social Media Manager (Dutch Speaking), you'll own the day-to-day social media management for a portfolio of brands, translating brand strategy into social-first content that people genuinely want to engage with.
You'll be responsible for planning, coordinating and optimising content across the full content lifecycle from developing content calendars and identifying reactive opportunities to analysing performance and guiding execution. You'll work closely with Strategists, Creatives, Community Managers, Designers, Motion Designers and the Data & Insights team to ensure every piece of content is platform-native, strategically aligned and delivers results.
Reporting to the Social Media Management Lead, you'll also act as the primary day-to-day contact for your clients, building strong relationships and providing data-driven recommendations that help their brands grow on social.
What you’ll do
- Own the day-to-day social management for a portfolio of client accounts, from planning through publishing.
- Build content plans that connect individual posts into a clear, long-term social narrative.
- Collaborate with strategy and creative teams to develop social-first ideas tailored to each platform.
- Analyse content performance, translate insights into actionable recommendations and continuously optimize future work.
- Spot trends, audience behaviours and reactive opportunities that brands can authentically tap into.
- Guide content from concept to publication, ensuring everything meets GoSpooky's creative standards.
- Build strong client relationships by providing strategic advice, presenting recommendations and helping clients understand what drives results.
What we’re looking for
- 3–5 years of experience in social media management, preferably within an agency or fast-paced brand environment.
- Proven experience managing multiple client accounts and acting as a trusted day-to-day client contact.
- Strong experience creating content plans and editorial calendars for social media.
- Deep knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts and other emerging social platforms.
- Ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into practical recommendations.
- Experience coordinating projects across multiple internal stakeholders while managing competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence working directly with clients.
- Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- A genuine passion for social media, internet culture and identifying trends before they become mainstream.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with consumer-facing brands.
- Familiarity with social media management and analytics platforms.
- Experience developing reactive or real-time social campaigns.
- Knowledge of creator marketing or influencer collaborations.
