Vitas s.a.l. (Vitas) is a leading microfinance institution in Lebanon, dedicated to financial inclusion and economic development. Founded in 1999 as a nongovernmental organization, Vitas transitioned to become Lebanon’s first non-bank financial institution regulated and supervised by the Central Bank and all other regulatory authorities, in 2007. Vitas provides various financial services, focusing on business growth, housing, and consumer needs, with a special emphasis on underserved, rural, and semi-urban areas. During the past twenty years, Vitas has continued to achieve strong growth and maintained an advanced position in terms of customer-centric financial inclusion, with a commitment to transparency and quality of service, in fulfillment of its mission to provide financial products and services to meet customer needs, and promote the sustainable development of individuals, their businesses, their families and the communities in which they live.Vitas is dedicated to providing its products and services to Lebanese communities, with a focus on youth, women and rural areas, to reduce poverty and unemployment.Vitas is part of the global Vitas Group and Global Communities group of development enterprises, upholding international best practice standards, and capitalizing on strong multilateral relationships and expertise. GHI is the regional leader and a key partner in defining and addressing the global health agenda, especially components relevant to the MENA region and other regions in the Global South. Grassroots Lebanon Non-Profit Organization (GLNPO) is a network of independent Lebanese individuals who possess a high sense of agency, initiative, solidarity, and belonging. Although operational and active since late 2019, Grassroots Lebanon turned into a popular response to the aftermath of the 4th of August 2020 blast and hundreds of high-spirited Lebanese women and men from all walks of life stood together and helped in evacuating the victims, cleaning debris, preparing and providing food to the devastated people, offering medical and psychological assistance and aid and helping in the reconstruction and all aspects of socio- psychological and medical needs. Grassroots Lebanon’s free and moderate voices aim at spreading the culture of initiative in order to raise a sense of agency and solidarity amongst the Lebanese communities to ensure a sustainable positive impact in the targeted communities while fulfilling the following goals: - reducing poverty, hunger and inequalities while ensuring good health and wellbeing. - offering quality, resilience and vocational education towards decent work and economic growth. - spreading awareness. - offering medical, psychosocial support and legal advisory. - advocating for gender equality, - encouraging clean water and sanitation along with affordable and clean energy. - encouraging responsible consumption, production and sustainable cities and communities through industry, innovation and infrastructure. - raising awareness regarding climate action, life below water and life on land. - advocating for peace, justice and strong institutions - accomplishing partnerships for the goals - advocating for human rights and freedoms and delivering the voice of the Lebanese people to the local and international communities. Grassroots Lebanon is an organic civic movement that believes in positive sustainable change coming from the bottom up, where ordinary people have the stance and can make a great difference! Many projects are being handled by Grassroots members in response to the actual crisis like: - Charitable projects including medical and refraction check ups and medicines and pharmaceutical products distribution (The ongoing White Campaign) to dispensaries and families in need from our data or through collaborations; - Food security programme ( food boxes, hot meals and sandwiches distributions) in partnership with but not limited to ILO, Worldvision, United Sikhs, Rotary; - Hygiene kits, personal and house necessities distributions in partnership with reputable local and international organizations; - Sustainable projects namely resilience education and vocational training programmes in partnership with professionals offering free services to prepare interested beneficiaries and equip them with the needed know-how to potentially find a job; - the Grassroots milk campaign in response to the acute shortage in the infant formula milk supply all across Lebanon; - Instruments occupational Health and Safety (Personal Protective Equipments) - Assessment projects- Central relief tent after the unfortunate 4th of August blast and crisis response initiatives- school aid distributions and school assessment- Miscellaneous distributions, animations and artistic events- fighting covid awareness campaign- crisis response aid (Rebuild Beirut Campaign) and (Justice to Beirut Initiative) in partnership with many national and international organizationsand many other HR, Awareness, Medical, Assessment, Arts, Animation, House repairs, In-kind donations and Education campaigns Grassroots Lebanon is made to benefit all Lebanese people in our way to the new Lebanon!

Green Hand Organization (GHO) was founded in 1999 and registered in 2003 as an environmental, social, cultural NGO focused on “Binding Community to Nature.” The membership of GHO consist of more than 78 experts and specialists from all over Lebanon and abroad, empowering communities to utilize their cultural assets, including native plants and local commerce, to promote environmental and economic sustainability. GHO endeavors to redefine the ethics of good citizenship as a positive interaction with nature, in order to yield conservation and sustainability of Lebanon’s rich culture. GHO works by educating and mobilizing local communities to promote environmental and social development. Great organizations understand the importance of having the right team approach and members to plan and execute. GHO believes that when aligned with good people, an organization or initiative will thrive, grow, and respond adequately to known and unknown risks. The leadership within GHO is not isolated at the top, but rather embraces ideas and leadership from all of its team members. GHO accomplishes its mission through four commissions: the Biodiversity Commission, the Medicinal Edible Aromatic Plant (MEA) Commission, the Green Home Commission, and the Educational Commission. GHO’s programs extend country-wide with a scope that includes working with farmers, landowners, craftsmen, underprivileged families, home-made traditional food items’ producers, wild herbs harvesters, and youth.

Greenpeace MENA (Middle East and North Africa) is the latest organisation in the Greenpeace network that now consists of 26 independent national/regional organisations in over 55 countries across Europe, the Americas, Africa, Asia, and the Pacific, as well as a co-ordinating body, Greenpeace International. Greenpeace MENA will prioritize environmental problems from this important region, offering solutions for its people and working hands in hands with the local communities in order to push for a greener and more peaceful world. Our goal is to ensure the ability of the earth to nurture life in all its diversity. That means we seek to: Promote the preservation and protection of the environment Promote peace Greenpeace MENA will adopt a global and regional approach to the achievement of its objectives, without limiting such approach to national or regional problems, but with a focus on the Middle-East and North African region. Guardians of Equality Movement (GEM) is a Syrian LGBTQIA+ focused human rights organization GEM is founded and led by Syrian LGBTQIA+ Human Rights Defenders, Activists, and Survivors/Victims/Refugees who strive to prevent a repeat of and protect others from the suffering and violations that occurred against them. GEM is dedicated to improving the lives of Syrian LGBTQIA+ people who experience discrimination/abuse on a regular basis due to their sexual orientation and gender identity in Syria and throughout the global Syrian diaspora. GEM works towards the protection and advocacy of human rights at social and diplomatic levels for all vulnerable Syrian LGBTQIA+ regardless of political affiliations, religion, or ethnic background. Prior to the Syrian conflict, there was a gap in addressing Syrian LGBTQIA+ needs and promoting their basic human rights, which has since been exacerbated by the conflict. We aim to fulfil this gap through our tailored programs and services that target Syrian LGBTQIA+ inside Syria and those living in other MENA countries (for example Turkey, Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan). Our programs support Syrian LGBTQIA+ individuals’ basic needs, provide holistic protection services including in unsafe environments, document LGBTQIA+ rights violations, and conduct research & advocacy promoting Syrian LGBTQIA+ rights. GEM was founded on September 14th 2021 by Syrian and international LGBTQIA+ activists who recognized the gap in the Syrian context around LGBTQIA+ Issues at all levels of humanitarian work, human rights, civil society, and politics, etc. As such it is one of the first NGOs/CSOs to focus wholly on this specialised field.
