Role Description The Construction Manager role at MFO CONTRACTING is a full-time, on-site position based in Giza. The Construction Manager will oversee day-to-day construction activities, supervise site teams, and ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Responsibilities include coordinating contractors and suppliers, monitoring project progress, implementing quality and safety standards, and resolving technical and operational issues on site. The role also involves preparing and reviewing project reports, assisting with resource planning, and maintaining clear communication with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders. The Construction Manager will support continuous improvement of construction processes and contribute to delivering high-quality fit-out and construction projects.
Qualifications
* Strong supervisory and leadership skills to manage site staff, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
* Budgeting and cost control skills to plan, monitor, and optimize project financial performance.
* Construction and construction safety skills to oversee execution, enforce safety regulations, and ensure compliance with standards.
* Project control skills, including scheduling, progress tracking, and risk management to keep projects on time and within scope.
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
* Proven experience managing construction or fit-out projects, preferably in commercial or high-end interiors.
* Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
* Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively on site in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in project management and construction-related software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD) is an advantage.
