Since it was established in 1933, Antoine has and continues to be an undeniable landmark of knowledge and culture. As Lebanon’s most reputable and largest bookseller, Antoine operates 12 standalone, in-mall, and on-campus bookstores across the country, with over 200 employees and more than 3,300 sqm of retail space, and offering the nation’s widest selection of French, English, and Arabic books of every genre, as well as school and university books. Beyond books, Antoine also offers a select variety of magazines and of high-end intellectual and educative games and toys, stationery, accessories, crafting tools, gadgets, gift items, and even ticketing services. All our product lines are available worldwide through our website and thanks to sister distribution and retail companies in the KSA, Dubai, and Morocco. And beyond retail and ecommerce, Antoine engages in wholesale and sales representation activities, especially when it comes to the textbook category: we provide the vast majority of all K-12 school books at all the Lebanese private schools in all 3 languages of instruction, as well as all types of digital tools and content, along with training for their usage. While resilience, adaptability, and forward-thinking drive our success, we owe our endurance and excellent reputation to an adamant sense of social responsibility. We provide our people with equal opportunities, fair treatment and wages, training and career advancement, and much more; and we collaborate with nonprofits, support social causes, invest in sustainability, and more for the improvement of our society. Our stellar track record eventually laid the foundation for the establishment of our sister publishing company, a joint venture with the esteemed Hachette Livre of France, culminating ultimately in the creation of Antoine International Holding, a dynamic entity dedicated to the sale, publishing, and distribution of books throughout the MENA region.
