Stand For Women (SFW) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) registered in Lebanon since November 2017. It was founded by Caroline Fattal, a Forbes-listed businesswoman. SFW is dedicated to advancing women’s economic empowerment and promoting gender equality across Lebanon and the region. Our mission is to champion sisterhood and support women who aspire to leadership positions and economic impact. Despite the challenges faced in this part of the world, we provide coaching and networking opportunities to help women thrive. SFW Values: Our core values at SFW include: 1. Economic Empowerment: We believe in empowering women economically, enabling them to achieve financial independence and stability. 2. Sisterhood: We foster a sense of sisterhood among women, encouraging collaboration, support, and mutual growth. 3. Leadership: We actively promote and nurture women’s leadership potential. 4. Sustainability: We are committed to sustainable practices and long-term impact. Priority Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SFW prioritizes the following SDGs: • SDG 5 (Gender Equality): Working towards a more equitable world for women. • SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth): Supporting women-led micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) across Lebanon. • SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals): Collaborating with stakeholders to achieve our mission. Main Objectives: Our main objectives include: 1. Supporting Vulnerable Women-Led MSMEs: We continue to provide assistance to women-led MSMEs throughout Lebanon, ensuring their business continuity in response to multiple crises. 2. Empowering Women Entrepreneurs: Recognizing the critical role of women entrepreneurs in economic recovery and growth. 3. Coaching and Leadership Support: We offer coaching and leadership development programs for women in corporate settings, helping them aspire to leadership positions.
