At War Child, our mission is to strengthen the systems that protect and support children affected by conflict, enabling them to recover, learn, and thrive. We place children and young people at the center of everything we do, working alongside families, communities, governments, and partners to create lasting, sustainable change. War Child delivers integrated programs that combine mental health and psychosocial support, education, and child protection to help children regain a sense of safety, confidence, and hope. By addressing children's social, emotional, and educational needs in an integrated approach, our interventions reinforce one another and create stronger, long-term outcomes. A defining strength of War Child is its commitment to evidence-based practice and innovation through our Evidence-based Methodologies. Through research and collaboration, we develop and scale effective interventions such as TeamUp, Can't Wait to Learn, Reach Now, EASE, CORE, and Be There, ensuring children affected by conflict receive support that is proven to make a lasting difference. By combining research, innovation, and practical action, we help children heal, build resilience, and create stronger systems of care for the future.
