Tahaddi is a non-governmental organization registered under Presidential Decree No. 1578. Tahaddi’s mission is to support individuals and families facing social and economic challenges in Lebanon by facilitating access to education, healthcare, and psychosocial services, regardless of nationality, religion, or social background.

The Tahaddi Education Center (TEC) provides educational opportunities for at-risk, out-of-school children in Hay el Gharbeh, south of Beirut, near Sports City. TEC is committed to fostering a safe, supportive, and child-centered learning environment that promotes academic achievement, personal development, and social inclusion.

Tahaddi Lebanon is currently hiring a Math Educator for the Primary Levels Program. In addition to teaching mathematics, educators are expected to contribute to a homework support program and to the planning and implementation of summer activities in July.

Employment: Full Employment, Full Time, Onsite

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Report to: Math Coordinator

Location: Hay el Gharbeh, Beirut, Lebanon

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and learner-centered educational activities for children aged 7–14, in line with TEC policies and curriculum objectives.

Develop and implement weekly and monthly lesson plans that address students' educational needs and learning goal.

Prepare and adapt teaching materials and resources to support diverse learning styles and abilities.

Monitor, assess, and document students' academic progress, behavior, and social development.

Apply positive and child-centered classroom management approaches.

Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that promotes children's well-being and participation.

Meet and collaborate regularly with the Math Coordinator to review lesson plans, monitor student progress, address challenges, and improve teaching practices.

Contribute actively to the homework support program and summer activities.

Participate in training sessions, workshops, and other professional development opportunities.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education (with a specialization in Mathematics), or a related field; a Teaching Diploma or recognized teaching certification is preferred.

Previous experience teaching or facilitating learning activities for children, preferably within an NGO setting and/or with communities facing social and economic challenges

Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic digital learning tools.
