Duration: 3-6 months (with possibility of extension) 

Time Commitment: Approximately 15–20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling.

This role can naturally evolve into a Fundraising & Partnerships Officer position as SPOT grows.

About SPOT for Social Change
SPOT for Social Change is a Lebanese civil society organisation working alongside women and youth. We work where local needs are most urgent, in economic agency and livelihoods, mental health and psychosocial support, peacebuilding, civic participation, and emergency humanitarian response. We design our programmes with the communities we serve, grounded in research and real engagement, so that what we build addresses the need and lasts. Working alongside communities, humanitarian and development partners and fellow civil society organisations, we strengthen local capacity so that people can act for themselves. Position Summary
SPOT is seeking an organised, motivated, and detail-oriented Individual & Corporate Giving Intern to help build our fundraising base. This internship offers hands-on experience in nonprofit resource mobilisation, donor research, relationship management, and giving operations.

The intern will support the growth of SPOT's individual and corporate donor pipelines while contributing structure, research, and fresh ideas to how we identify, engage, retain, and re-engage donors.

Key Responsibilities

Individual Giving 

• Support individual donor outreach, including calls to prospective and lapsed donors, to grow SPOT's individual giving base.
• Help build, segment, and qualify donor lists by giving level and donor type.
• Support the reactivation of lapsed and one-time donors through structured follow-up.
• Support recurring-donor conversion and upgrade, moving one-time givers toward monthly commitments.
• Maintain donor records and the giving tracker, keeping data accurate, current, and logged with interaction history.
• Support new-donor onboarding, including welcome messages and thank-you calls.
• Assist with acknowledgements, ongoing thank-you journeys, and follow-up.
• Support individual-giving campaigns from planning through follow-up.

Corporate Giving & Partnerships 

• Research and build prospect lists of companies with relevant CSR or social-impact priorities.
• Support prospect research on corporate and higher-value donors, including giving history and areas of interest.
• Support the preparation of partnership and sponsorship materials.
• Help identify non-cash forms of corporate support, such as employee giving and in-kind contributions.
• Help track outreach, follow-ups, and partnership status.
• Assist in aligning corporate approaches with SPOT's programme areas.

Fundraising Operations 

• Support multi-channel giving campaigns across email, SMS or WhatsApp, newsletter, and social media, tied to a clear giving ask.
• Support donation-page upkeep and basic giving-channel checks.
• Help maintain data hygiene across donor and prospect records.
• Track basic fundraising metrics, including acquisition and retention, and flag opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in transforming programme updates into donor-ready content.

Qualifications 

We welcome applications from students or recent graduates in any of the following majors:

Preferred Skills 

• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (required). 
• Familiarity with CRM or donor-management tools is an asset. 
• Comfort with phone and direct donor outreach. 
• Strong research and organisational skills. 
• Strong written Arabic and English. 
• Clear, professional written communication.
• Good time-management skills. 
• Interest in humanitarian, development, or social impact work.
