About SPOT for Social Change
SPOT for Social Change is a Lebanese civil society organisation working alongside women and youth. We work where local needs are most urgent, in economic agency and livelihoods, mental health and psychosocial support, peacebuilding, civic participation, and emergency humanitarian response. We design our programmes with the communities we serve, grounded in research and real engagement, so that what we build addresses the need and lasts. Working alongside communities, humanitarian and development partners and fellow civil society organisations, we strengthen local capacity so that people can act for themselves. Our aim is practical and measurable: less poverty, less inequality, and stronger, more equitable systems for the women and young people of Lebanon.

Position Summary
SPOT is seeking a proactive, relationship-oriented Individual & Corporate Giving Consultant to set up and run our individual and corporate giving engine: identifying and cultivating individual donors, building corporate, private sector, and CSR partnerships, and turning both into sustainable, repeatable support for SPOT. Reaching foundations, philanthropic organisations, and Lebanese diaspora networks would be a strong asset.

The consultant will grow SPOT's individual and corporate donor pipelines while putting in place the structure and systems that let those relationships be retained and re-engaged over time.

This role will be supported by Fundraising Interns, who will be line-managed by the Individual and Corporate Giving Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

Individual Giving

Grow SPOT's individual giving base through direct outreach, including calls to prospective and lapsed donors.
Build, segment, and qualify donor lists by giving level and donor type, including Lebanese diaspora supporters.
Reactivate lapsed and one-time donors through structured follow-up.
Convert and upgrade recurring donors, moving one-time givers toward monthly commitments and lasting engagement with SPOT.
Identify opportunities for existing supporters to introduce SPOT to their own networks.
Set up and maintain donor records and the giving tracker, with accurate, current, interaction-logged data.
Establish new-donor onboarding, including welcome messages and thank-you calls.
Run acknowledgements, ongoing thank-you journeys, and follow-up.
Plan and deliver individual-giving campaigns from planning through follow-up.

Corporate, Foundations & Partnerships

Research and build prospect lists of companies with relevant CSR or social-impact priorities.
Conduct prospect research on corporate and higher-value donors, including giving history and areas of interest.
Secure and grow corporate, private sector, and CSR partnerships and sponsorships.
Identify non-cash forms of corporate support, such as employee giving and in-kind contributions.
Conduct outreach to foundations and philanthropic organisations aligned with SPOT's mission, and facilitate warm introductions through existing networks.
Prepare partnership and sponsorship materials and align corporate approaches with SPOT's programme areas.
Track outreach, follow-ups, and partnership status.

Pipeline & Materials

Build and maintain a structured giving and partnerships pipeline, recording contact persons, relationship owners, areas of interest, previous engagement, funding potential, last contact, and next steps.
Categorise and prioritise prospects according to relationship strength, strategic fit, and funding potential.
Maintain systematic follow-up so that promising relationships do not become inactive after an initial conversation.
Provide input into donor-facing materials, one-pagers, and the case for support where useful.

Fundraising Operations

Set up and run multi-channel giving campaigns across email, SMS or WhatsApp, newsletter, and social media, tied to a clear giving ask.
Maintain the donation page and basic giving-channel checks.
Keep donor and prospect data clean and current.
Track fundraising metrics, including acquisition and retention, and act on opportunities to improve.
Turn programme updates into donor-ready content.
Maintain clear records of relationships, opportunities, and funds generated, with transparent attribution for commission purposes.

Other

Support the fundraising intern(s) in developing donor databases.
Line manages the fundraising intern(s) and ensures their capacity building.
Line manages the fundraising intern(s) to support back-end fundraising work.

Qualifications

Formal fundraising experience is valuable, but we are equally interested in candidates with strong networks and a demonstrated ability to build relationships and turn them into support.

Preferred Skills

Proven ability to build donor or client relationships and turn them into revenue.
Comfort with phone and direct donor outreach.
Strong relationship-building, networking, and interpersonal skills.
Existing networks in Lebanon and/or the diaspora relevant to SPOT's work, an asset.
Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with CRM or donor-management tools an asset.
Strong research, organisational, and follow-up skills.
Strong written and spoken Arabic and English.
Proactive, entrepreneurial approach.
Good judgement, professionalism, and discretion representing SPOT externally.
Interest in humanitarian, development, or social impact work.

Compensation Model
This is a commission/success-based consultancy and does not carry a fixed salary or monthly fee.

The consultant will receive an agreed percentage of eligible funding successfully generated through their efforts.

The specific commission percentage, eligible funding types, attribution criteria, payment timing, and exclusions will be agreed in writing before the consultancy begins.
