RESPONSIBILITIES

Fills the patient’s medical history, allergies, vital signs, physician diagnoses and exams in the information system
Admits patients to the physicians of the Primary Health Care Satellite Unit (PSU).
Provides patients with the medical drugs according to the physician’s prescription
Prepares the patients before examination (blood pressure, glucose test…)
Ensures that medical equipment is properly operated and maintained and insures supply needs for the PSU operations
Identifies patients’ care requirements, focus on their needs and act on them
Coordinates with the HUB Administrative Assistant on the replenishment of the medical drugs stock of the PSU according to the budget and needs
Maintains a safe, hygienic working environment
Follows up all protocols, processes, and procedures (disease prevention, infection control, …)
Monitors patients’ condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
Supports generalists and specialty doctors in providing medical acts and follows up with patient during recovery based on doctor’s request
Performs other related duties requested by the Field Coordinator
