Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Implementation
Lead the planning and implementation of assigned projects from initiation through completion, ensuring achievement of project objectives, deliverables, indicators, and targets.
Develop and regularly monitor project workplans, implementation schedules, activity plans, and operational priorities.
Maintain a strong understanding of project agreements, budgets, proposals, targets, procurement requirements, and donor commitments.
Identify implementation risks, delays, gaps, and emerging needs, and proactively develop appropriate mitigation and corrective actions.
Coordinate field activities and ensure timely and quality implementation across assigned locations.
Team Management & Capacity Building
Directly supervise Senior Field Officers, Field Officers, and other assigned project staff, ensuring clear responsibilities, effective delegation, and regular follow-up.
Provide technical guidance, coaching, and capacity-building support to project staff and volunteers.
Promote teamwork, accountability, staff wellbeing, professional conduct, and a positive working environment.
Coordinate with People & Culture on staffing needs, performance management, capacity development, and other team-related matters.
Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement
Maintain effective coordination and professional relationships with donors, partners, municipalities, community representatives, sector actors, and other relevant stakeholders.
Organize and participate in project meetings, coordination meetings, donor visits, field visits, and performance reviews.
Represent Nusaned professionally and ensure that commitments made to partners and communities are appropriately followed up.
Monitoring, Reporting & Quality
Work closely with the MEAL & Grants team to monitor project progress, outputs, indicators, beneficiary feedback, and overall quality of implementation.
Prepare and review accurate and timely narrative reports, project updates, achievement summaries, and other donor or internal reporting requirements.
Support reflection and lessons-learned sessions and ensure that findings are translated into improvements in project implementation.
Contribute to the development of project proposals, assessments, MEAL tools, and implementation approaches when required.
Coordinate with the Communications team on success stories, human-interest stories, visibility materials, and project achievements while ensuring informed consent and data protection requirements.
Financial, Procurement & Operational Oversight
Monitor project expenditures in coordination with Finance and ensure alignment between implementation progress and approved budgets.
Coordinate procurement and logistical requirements with relevant departments to ensure timely delivery while maintaining proper planning and compliance.
Support budget forecasting, procurement planning, and effective use of project resources.
Ensure appropriate project documentation and filing in line with Nusaned and donor requirements.
Safeguarding, Accountability & Compliance
Ensure project implementation complies with Nusaned policies, donor requirements, humanitarian principles, and applicable quality and accountability standards.
Integrate Safeguarding, PSEA, Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP), inclusion, Data Protection, Duty of Care, and Do No Harm principles throughout project implementation.
Ensure project teams and volunteers understand relevant safeguarding and PSEA responsibilities, reporting mechanisms, and expected standards of conduct.
Promote meaningful community participation, accessible feedback mechanisms, confidentiality, dignity, and non-discrimination throughout the project cycle.
Immediately report safeguarding, protection, fraud, misconduct, or other serious concerns through the appropriate organizational channels.
Other Responsibilities
Contribute to organizational planning, learning, and cross-departmental initiatives as required.
Perform other project-related responsibilities reasonably assigned by the Executive Director in line with the scope and seniority of the position.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Business or Public Administration, Project Management, Social Sciences, or another relevant field. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification is an asset.
Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience, including demonstrated experience managing humanitarian and/or development projects with local NGOs, INGOs, UN agencies, or similar organizations.
Demonstrated experience supervising project teams and coordinating field implementation.
Experience working with donor-funded projects and familiarity with donor compliance, reporting, budgeting, procurement, and MEAL requirements.
Experience in one or more of the following sectors is strongly preferred: Food Security, Basic Assistance, Shelter, Livelihoods, or community-based programming.
Previous experience working in Beirut and Mount Lebanon and knowledge of the local operational context is an asset.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
Excellent written and spoken Arabic and English.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Supervisory Responsibility: Senior Field Officers, Field Officers, and project-based team members as assigned
Works Closely With: Programs, MEAL & Grants, Finance, Procurement, People & Culture, Communications, and other relevant departments
