PATIENT SUPPORT SUPERVISOR-100% Activity Rate-Beqaa

Functions

• Supervise the implementation of health promotion and community engagement activities in PHCCs, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with project objectives.
• Provide close supervision, shadowing, and coaching to social workers and health promotion staff to strengthen technical skills and quality of practice.
• Support the integration of social work and health promotion activities within PHCC workflows and multidisciplinary care.
• Assist in the development, adaptation, and implementation of patient support tools, including social assessments, vulnerability screening, mapping tools, referral tools, peer support groups, and health education materials.
• Monitor patient support activities through regular field visits, observation, reporting review, and data analysis, and propose action improvement plans when needed.
• Developping, organizing and participating to Health Promotion campaigns in the PHCCs and in external activities, if relevant.
• Organize and plan the work of the hp team and social workers and contribute to staff development in coordination with HR and the line manager.
• Strengthen referral pathways and coordination with internal and external actors in Bekaa.
• Support the collection, consolidation, and analysis of hp data ana social work data and contribute to regular reporting and operational planning.
• Promote patient-centered care, effective communication, and accountability to patients and caregivers across all supported PHCCs.
• Support mapping and regular updating of services relevant to patient support, including: secondary and tertiary care, mental health and psychosocial support, protection services including SGBV, nutrition services, rehabilitation or assistive devices, basic assistance,…
• Identify capacity gaps and develop practical learning opportunities for social workers and health promotion staff through coaching, shadowing, training, and supportive supervision.

Requirements

Education: University degree in Social Work.

Experience: 

 

•   Desirable 2 years of previous experience and previous experience in other NGO’s
•   Mandatory: Demonstrable experience in supervising and training others in a team setting
•   Mandatory: Experience in health education process, patient education
•   Mandatory: Experience working as social worker with vulnerable population

Languages:

• Essential : local language.
• Essential: B1 Mission Language

Knowledge:

Essential: knowledge of word, excel and internet
