Position Summary

Medair is seeking committed and motivated Programme Support Volunteers to assist with a variety of field activities across different programmes in Beirut Mount Lebanon (BML). Depending on operational needs, volunteers may support assessments, distributions, driving, and other programme activities.

Key Responsibilities

Support field assessments and data collection activities.

Assist in the distribution of humanitarian assistance.

Provide operational support during programme activities.

Drive Medair vehicles when assigned and authorized (for volunteers holding a valid driving licence).

Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting supplies and equipment.

Support programme teams with other field or administrative tasks as assigned.

Comply with Medair's policies, procedures, and Code of Conduct at all times.

Qualifications and Requirements

High school diploma or Bachelor's degree, depending on the volunteer assignment and responsibilities.

Valid Lebanese driving licence is required only for volunteers assigned driving responsibilities.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Flexible and willing to support different programme activities.

Ability to work in the field under changing operational conditions.

Previous volunteering or humanitarian experience is an asset.

Volunteer Stipend

Volunteers will receive a daily stipend in accordance with Medair's Volunteer Policy. The stipend amount varies depending on the nature of the volunteer assignment and the tasks performed (Ranging between $24 and $29 per day)
