The Network is a non-partisan network of private-sector leaders and professionals committed to advancing Lebanon's economic recovery, institutional reform, and sustainable development through policy advocacy, partnerships, and collaborative initiatives.
Position Overview
The Network is seeking an experienced, proactive, and results-driven Fundraising & Resource Mobilisation Expert to lead its fundraising efforts and strengthen the Network's long-term financial sustainability.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying funding opportunities, securing institutional grants and corporate sponsorships, engaging philanthropic and diaspora donors, and developing a sustainable fundraising pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Institutional Fundraising & Grant Development
- Identify and pursue local and international funding opportunities.
- Develop concept notes, grant proposals, budgets, and donor submissions.
- Build and maintain a structured donor database and fundraising pipeline.
- Manage donor relationships, negotiations, and follow-ups.
2. Corporate Partnerships, Sponsorships & Events
- Develop corporate partnerships and sponsorship packages.
- Secure sponsorships and financial support for the Network initiatives and events.
- Identify and develop sustainable revenue-generating opportunities.
- Mobilise financial and in-kind contributions.
3. Diaspora Engagement & Philanthropy
- Identify and engage diaspora networks, philanthropic organisations, and major donors.
- Build relationships with potential individual and institutional contributors.
- Collaborate with the PR and Outreach Unit to generate fundraising opportunities.
4. Fundraising Strategy & Reporting
- Support the implementation of The Network's Fundraising and Financial Sustainability Strategy 2026–2029.
- Establish and maintain fundraising tracking and reporting systems.
- Monitor fundraising performance against agreed targets and KPIs.
- Prepare regular progress reports and funding pipeline updates.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in fundraising, resource mobilisation, donor relations, or business development.
- Strong knowledge of Lebanon's funding landscape and international donor environment.
- Demonstrated experience in grant writing, proposal development, and securing funding.
- Experience in corporate sponsorships, strategic partnerships, or philanthropic fundraising.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and meet targets.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic; French is an asset.
- A proactive, results-oriented approach with a commitment to professional ethics and confidentiality.
