Life Skills Coach in Lebanon at The Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training

LOST is seeking for an empathetic and motivated Life Skills Coach to empower program beneficiaries by equipping them with essential personal and professional skills to succeed in the workplace and daily life. The Life Skills Coach will focus on building self-confidence, communication, decision-making, emotional resilience, and workplace behavior—key competencies for long-term success in employment, education, or entrepreneurship.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver interactive life skills training sessions tailored to the needs of the target teachers.
Cover core topics such as communication, teamwork, time management, conflict resolution, critical thinking, self-esteem, and stress management
Use participatory training techniques such as role-plays, storytelling, group discussions, games, and reflection exercises
Foster a safe, inclusive environment where beneficiaries feel comfortable sharing and learning
Support personal development by helping teachers set goals and build confidence
Identify emotional or behavioral challenges and refer participants to counselors or support services when needed
Customize content to the educational and cultural background of the trainees
Monitor participant progress and provide individual guidance or mentorship
Maintain training records, attendance, evaluation reports, and feedback

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in training, coaching, counseling, or social development work
Strong facilitation skills with the ability to engage participants at different learning levels
Fluency in English is preferred
Knowledge of gender issues, inclusion, and psychosocial development is an asset
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Human Development, or related field preferred
Prior experience in NGO, community, or vocational training settings is desirable
