The Lebanese Charitable Service Association (LCSA) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization committed to advancing the public good by strengthening education, child protection, psychosocial well-being, basic health support, and community resilience in Lebanon, particularly in crisis-affected and vulnerable communities. The organization’s broader public good objective is to reduce inequalities in access to essential services by implementing integrated, community-based and inclusive programmes. These include education recovery, psychosocial support, basic health and referral assistance, and protection-focused interventions for children and families facing socio-economic hardship, displacement, or vulnerability. LCSA works to ensure that vulnerable populations have access not only to quality education and psychosocial care, but also to basic health awareness, referral pathways, and linkages to appropriate medical and specialized services when needed, including for children with disabilities and other health-related needs. Through its programs , such as education recovery initiatives, psychosocial support activities, health-related referrals, and inclusive community interventions, LCSA contributes to building stronger, healthier, and more resilient communities. The organization also promotes teacher leadership development to strengthen long-term community capacity and systems strengthening. All activities are implemented in partnership with local stakeholders, including municipalities and relevant service providers, ensuring alignment with national priorities and maximizing community impact.
