About the Hariri Foundation (HF)
The Hariri Foundation (HF) is a Lebanese non-governmental organization addressing sustainable human development in Lebanon and beyond since 1979. Incepted as an exceptional national mission by late Rafic Hariri, the foundation covers a wide variety of programs and services aiming at strengthening citizen engagement and reinforcing community resilience through networking, education, science, innovation, and safety nets. HF is a member of the United Nations’ ECOSOC with a special consultative status.

1.Chocolate Making
This training will provide participants with practical skills in chocolate preparation and confectionery production, including tempering, molding, filling, decoration, hygiene, packaging, and product presentation. It will also introduce basic costing, pricing, and marketing concepts to support potential income-generating opportunities.
2.Soap and Candle Making
This training will equip participants with practical skills in producing handmade soaps and candles using appropriate materials, tools, and safe production techniques. It will also cover quality control, packaging, pricing, and basic marketing to support small-scale or home-based production.
3.Chef Assistant
This training will introduce participants to the essential skills required to work in a professional kitchen, including food preparation, knife skills, basic cooking techniques, hygiene, food safety, storage, and teamwork. Participants will also learn basic costing and kitchen organization.
4.Elderly Care
This training will prepare participants to provide safe, respectful, and appropriate support to older persons. It will cover assistance with daily activities, hygiene, mobility, nutrition, communication, safety, basic observation, and professional caregiving practices.
5.Makeup Artist
This training will develop participants’ practical skills in makeup application for different occasions, skin preparation, product selection, hygiene, and basic hairstyling. It will also cover client consultation, service pricing, portfolio development, and basic promotion.
6.Nail Care
This training will provide practical skills in manicure, pedicure, Gelish application, nail preparation, hygiene, sanitation, and safe use of tools and products. It will also introduce client care, service pricing, and basic business practices.
7.Photography & Content Creation
This training will introduce participants to photography, composition, lighting, camera and smartphone use, and basic video creation. It will also cover editing, social media content development, digital tools, and portfolio building.
8.Skin Care
This training will provide participants with basic knowledge and practical skills in non-medical skincare services, including skin types, cleansing, exfoliation, masks, facial care, hygiene, and client consultation. It will also address aftercare and safe professional practices.
9.Healthy Kitchen
This training will focus on preparing healthier meals using balanced ingredients and practical cooking techniques. Participants will learn about meal planning, portion control, food safety, healthier recipe adaptation, and basic food costing.
10.Macramé Making
This training will introduce participants to basic and advanced macramé techniques and the production of decorative and functional handmade items. It will also cover finishing, product design, costing, pricing, packaging, and market-oriented production.
11.Mobile Phone Repair
This training will provide participants with basic technical knowledge and hands-on skills in mobile phone diagnostics, common hardware and software problems, safe use of repair tools, and basic repair procedures. It will also introduce customer service and repair costing.
12.Sound System Engineering
This training will introduce participants to the fundamentals of sound systems and live audio, including microphones, mixers, speakers, signal flow, system setup, and troubleshooting. It will also cover basic recording, audio editing, and introductory digital audio tools.
13.Life Skills
This training will strengthen participants’ personal and professional skills to support their transition into employment or self-employment. It will cover effective communication, teamwork, problem-solving, decision-making, time management, adaptability, self-confidence, conflict management, workplace ethics, and basic job-readiness skills.
