GENIUS is recruiting a Homeroom Teacher to lead an inclusive classroom for students with physical disabilities, particularly children with Cerebral Palsy (IMC).

The teacher will ensure pedagogical continuity and the effective inclusion of each student in a supportive and adapted learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons adapted to the official curriculum and the specific needs of students.

Adapt the classroom environment and teaching materials to students’ motor limitations (adapted desks, ergonomic equipment, etc.).

Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team (speech therapists, psychomotor therapists, physiotherapists, special educators) to implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

Monitor students’ academic and behavioral progress on an individualized basis.

Communicate regularly with families and keep them informed about their child’s progress.

Participate in educational team meetings and ongoing training on inclusion and disability.

Ensure compliance with child protection policies and safeguarding principles (PSEA).

Profile:

University degree in education, special education, or a related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s).

Minimum 4 years of professional experience as a homeroom/class teacher, including proven experience with students with Cerebral Palsy (IMC) and/or physical disabilities.

Knowledge of pedagogical adaptations and assistive tools for motor disabilities.

Commitment to inclusive education and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Excellent communication and inclusive classroom management skills.
