Genius NGO is seeking a passionate and qualified English Teacher to deliver engaging, inclusive, and effective English language instruction to students in Grades 1 through 5. The teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing lessons that align with the curriculum, fostering a love for the English language, and supporting the academic and personal development of each student.

Key Responsibilities

Lesson Planning & Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver age-appropriate English lessons for Grades 1–5, covering reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.

Curriculum Alignment: Ensure lessons align with the official curriculum and the specific learning needs of students.

Inclusive Teaching: Adapt teaching materials and classroom strategies to meet diverse learning styles and abilities, including students with special needs.

Assessment & Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress through quizzes, assignments, and observations; maintain accurate records and provide feedback.

Classroom Management: Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and respect.

Collaboration: Work closely with other teachers, special educators, and the multidisciplinary team to support student learning and well-being.

Family Communication: Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement.

Professional Development: Participate in training sessions and team meetings focused on inclusive education and best teaching practices.

Child Protection: Ensure compliance with child protection policies and safeguarding principles (PSEA).

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, English Literature.

Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience teaching English to primary-level students (Grades 1–5).

Language Skills: Excellent command of both written and spoken English; fluency in Arabic is required.
