- Contract Type: Part-time
- Salary: 400$ per month
- Duration: until 31-12-2026, renewable based on performance and availability of funding

1. Background
Fraternity Association for Social Cultural Work implements youth livelihoods programs aimed at improving economic opportunities for young people through skills development, entrepreneurship, and employment initiatives.
The Finance Assistant will provide support to the Finance team in managing day-to-day financial activities and maintaining accurate, complete, and well-organized financial records. The position will contribute to ensuring that financial transactions and documentation are processed in accordance with the organization's policies, donor requirements, and applicable financial procedures.
The Finance Assistant will work closely with the Finance, Procurement, Administration, HR, and Program teams to ensure timely and effective financial support to the organization's activities and projects.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Take high-quality photos and videos during activities, training sessions, workshops, events, and community activities.
- Document students’ participation, achievements, projects, and success stories.
- Cover Small Business activities, including products, services, entrepreneurs, and their success stories.
- Cover graduation ceremonies, exhibitions, events, distributions, campaigns, and other organizational activities.
- Produce short-form video content suitable for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other social media platforms.
- Edit photos and videos to a professional standard.
- Create engaging Reels, Stories, short videos, and visual content.
- Assist in developing creative ideas and concepts for social media content.
- Capture natural and engaging moments while respecting the privacy, dignity, and safety of beneficiaries, especially children and youth.
- Organize and maintain photo and video files and ensure proper archiving.
- Coordinate with the program team to understand upcoming activities and identify key moments and stories to document.
- Support the communications team in preparing content for social media campaigns and organizational visibility.
- Ensure that all content follows the organization’s branding and communication guidelines.
3. Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in photography, videography, social media content creation, or a similar role.
- Proven experience in event and field photography/videography.
- Experience creating content for social media platforms, particularly Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Good knowledge of photography and videography techniques, including framing, lighting, composition, and sound.
- Experience with photo and video editing tools such as Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, CapCut, Canva, or similar software.
- Ability to produce creative and engaging short-form videos.
- Experience working in community, educational, youth, NGO, or development settings is an advantage.
- Ability to work in the field and attend activities and events when required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and coordinate with different teams.
- Creative, proactive, and able to identify good visual stories and moments without requiring constant direction.
- The candidate must have their own photography and videography equipment, including a suitable camera, lenses, microphone, tripod, and basic lighting equipment required for photography and video production.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of current social media trends and content formats.
- Basic understanding of social media engagement and audience targeting.
- Experience with mobile photography/videography is an advantage.
- Ability to work with professional cameras, smartphones, microphones, tripods, and basic lighting equipment.
- Ability to tell stories visually and transform activities into compelling social media content.
- A portfolio of previous photography, videography, or social media work is required/preferred.

6. Confidentiality and Compliance
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding beneficiaries, students, staff, organizational activities, and internal information.
- Obtain the required consent and approval before photographing, filming, or publishing images, videos, or personal information of beneficiaries, especially children and youth.
- Ensure that all social media content complies with the organization’s safeguarding, child protection, confidentiality, and communication policies.
- Respect the dignity, privacy, and rights of all beneficiaries and avoid publishing any content that may expose them to harm, stigma, or embarrassment.
- Ensure that all published content is accurate, appropriate, professional, and aligned with the organization’s values and communication guidelines.
- Do not share or publish confidential organizational information, documents, or materials without prior authorization.
7. Contract and Renewal
The position is offered on a part-time basis for an initial period of three (3) months. The contract may be renewed subject to satisfactory performance, organizational needs, and the availability of funding.
