FISTA is seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to provide transportation and logistical support for project activities across designated intervention areas. The Driver will ensure the safe and timely transportation of project staff for field implementation, monitoring visits, coordination meetings, and other program-related activities. The role also includes transporting project materials, equipment, and supplies in accordance with FISTA’s safety standards and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities – Transportation and Logistics
- Safely and punctually transport project staff to field locations, monitoring visits, coordination meetings, and project activities.
- Provide transportation support for project implementation, field missions, and other program-related activities.
- Plan and follow approved routes and schedules to support efficient field operations.
- Transport and deliver project materials, equipment, and supplies across designated intervention areas.
- Coordinate transportation schedules, routes, and logistical needs with relevant project staff.
Key Responsibilities – Vehicle Maintenance and Safety
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness.
- Monitor fuel, mileage, and routine maintenance requirements.
- Immediately report mechanical issues, accidents, damages, or safety concerns.
- Ensure appropriate safety equipment and passenger compliance with safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate daily trip, mileage, fuel, and maintenance logbooks.
- Follow Lebanese traffic laws and FISTA transportation procedures.
Key Responsibilities – Safeguarding and Conduct
- Ensure the safety, dignity, and well-being of all passengers.
- Follow FISTA safeguarding policies, Code of Conduct, and child protection procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of project, staff, and beneficiary information encountered during duties.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with colleagues, partners, and community members.
- Report safeguarding concerns and incidents through established channels.
- Carry out other transportation-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
