FEMALE is a civil feminist collective working with women and girls to eliminate injustice through building a young feminist movement, empowering agents of change, and campaigning together against discriminatory norms and policies.

Location: FEMALE-office- Beirut
Reporting to: the financial and the HR and Procurement Coordinators Relations with Others: Close working relationship with all staff.
Major Responsibilities: Accounting tasks:
- Review and receive all financial documentation submitted by the field and Procurement Teams, ensuring completeness and proper supporting documents.
- Monitor, record, and reconcile monthly petty cash transactions and payments.
- Maintain proper filing and scanning of financial documents and perform accurate data entry into the accounting system.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and upload required financial supporting documents to shared drives and donor platforms.
- Manage cash withdrawals and deposits through WISH accounts to cover approved office and operational expenses.
- Enters accounting information into bookkeeping, and cross-check accurateness and completeness before submitting in a timely manner.
Administration tasks:
- Keep track and control regular needs and stock movement in storage.
- Keep track of all assets and inventory tracker and ensure that the project’s equipment is properly labelled and stored.
- Assist in keeping an up-to-date inventory of the donations room and in the distribution of donation items.
- Coordinate the maintenance and upkeep of office supplies and electronics (laptops, phones...etc).
- Procure and keep a record of office supplies (stationery items, groceries, cleaning products, etc.)
- Coordinate the fixing or replacing of broken items, such as electricians, plumbers, carpenters, IT repair
- Create a schedule for space maintenance and care (recycling system, ACs upkeep, generator)
- Perform other urgent duties as assigned by the management.
Qualifications:
- knowledge of gender and familiarity with the human rights and feminist work approaches;
- Excellent knowledge of Arabic and English is mandatory;
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, ideally in a similar role within an international or non-profit organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, and reporting.
- knowledge of gender and familiarity with the human rights and feminist work approaches.
