I. About Developmental Action without Borders, Naba'a:

Developmental Action without Borders - Naba’a, is a Lebanese NGO operational since 2001. Registered under the Ministry of Interior (no. 104/AD), Naba’a is dedicated to serving all marginalized communities in Lebanon, especially children, without distinction of nationality, color, race, or religion. This includes communities within camps and gatherings in Lebanon, as well as local Lebanese communities.

II. Nabaa's Employment Screening and Protection Protocol:

Developmental Action without Borders, Naba’a, does not employ individuals who are married to children (persons under 18). Naba’a enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding sexual exploitation and abuse, sexual harassment, abuse of authority, and discrimination. All prospective candidates must undergo thorough reference and background checks which will mainly verify employment history, professional performance, and adherence to the aforementioned policies. Furthermore, the selected candidates must provide a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Screening or an equivalent criminal record check as a condition of employment.

Key Responsibilities of MEAL Volunteer:

Support data entry, cleaning and verification, identifying missing information and duplicate records.
Maintain beneficiary databases, attendance records and activity tracking sheets.
Collect beneficiary feedback following the provision of services through visits to centers, focus group discussions and telephone calls, using approved tools and procedures. Centre visits are limited to gathering feedback and do not include monitoring or observation activities.
Update indicator tracking tables using data verified by the MEAL team.
Assist in documenting lessons learned, meeting minutes and follow-up actions.
Organize MEAL files and supporting documents.
Handle sensitive information confidentially and immediately refer safeguarding concerns through established procedures.
Comply with organizational policies on child protection, safeguarding, PSEAH, informed consent and data protection.

Academic Qualifications:

Currently studying towards, or holding, a degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Economics, Development Studies, Information Management or a related field.
Relevant coursework or training in research, data analysis or MEAL is an advantage.

Professional Qualifications:

Internship, volunteering, academic research or community work involving surveys, data entry or reporting is an advantage.
Interest in humanitarian work, accountability and evidence-based program improvement.
Willingness to attend orientation and relevant training and commit to an agreed volunteering schedule.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Ability to enter, organize and verify data accurately.
Basic understanding of questionnaires and data collection methods.
Good written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
Familiarity with KoboToolbox or similar platforms is an advantage.
Willingness to develop skills in data cleaning, basic analysis and reporting.
Ability to apply confidentiality and secure data-handling procedures.
