Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, with Masters degree highly desirable
- Knowledge of block-based and text-based coding languages
- At least 3 yrs of experience in teaching, training, or educational facilitation - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and educational approaches
- Demonstrated organisational and time-management skills
- Enthusiasm for promoting STEM education and fostering a passion for coding and robotics
Areas Of Responsibility:
- Train local school teachers on CodeBrave’s STEM curriculum and Teaching Methodology for delivering 21st century skills to K-12 students; coach the school teachers as they independently deliver classes at their schools. Trainings may be in person or online, depending on need.
- Evaluate and identify training gaps and continuously update teacher training material.
- Support on the creation of online teacher training resources as required.
- Support on the collection and analysis of data for monitoring and evaluation.
- Support with project management tasks as assigned by the Teacher Training Manager.
- Demonstrate CodeBrave’s organisational culture through your behaviour.
- Attend onboarding and training in preparation to become a Teacher Trainer.
Salary
Hourly contracts: $17 per hour of teaching time
References
