Arabic Teacher – Special Education

AFEL is looking for an Arabic Teacher to join the multidisciplinary team of its Remedial Education School in Bourj Hammoud.

The teacher will provide adapted Arabic-language education to children with different learning needs and contribute to creating a safe, supportive, structured, and inclusive learning environment .

Required Profile:

•⁠  ⁠Bachelor’s degree in Education, preferably in Primary Education or a relevant TS/EPP qualification .
•⁠  ⁠Previous experience in teaching or working with children with learning difficulties or special educational needs is an asset
•⁠  ⁠Reliable, organized, dynamic, and committed
•⁠  ⁠Ability to adapt teaching approaches to the needs, abilities, and learning pace of each child.
•⁠  ⁠Ability to manage a classroom and groups of children effectively
•⁠  ⁠Good observation, communication, and problem-solving skills
•⁠  ⁠Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
•⁠  ⁠Ability to establish positive and respectful relationships with children, colleagues, specialists, and families
•⁠  ⁠Commitment to child safeguarding, inclusion, confidentiality, and professional ethics
•⁠  ⁠Availability for a medium- to long-term commitment

Employment Conditions:

Contract: Full-time
Working days: Monday to Friday
Working hours: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Location: AFEL Remedial Education School – Bourj Hammoud
