arche nova e.V. – Initiative For People In Need

arche nova – Initiative for People in Need is a German humanitarian and development organization founded in 1992. The organization supports people affected by crises, conflicts and natural disasters through emergency assistance, rehabilitation and long-term development cooperation, with a strong focus on Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH). arche nova has been working in Lebanon since 2015, supporting vulnerable Lebanese communities and people affected by the Syrian crisis and recurrent emergencies. Its work in Lebanon focuses mainly on WASH, food security, livelihoods, agriculture, education and emergency response. Over the years, arche nova Lebanon has implemented projects related to the rehabilitation of water systems, improvement of irrigation and agricultural infrastructure, support to smallholder farmers, sustainable agriculture training, education support for children affected by the Syrian crisis, and emergency assistance to displaced and crisis-affected families.
