Trainer/Coach
Ana Aqra is looking for a skilled and motivated Trainer/Coach to help strengthen the capacities and practices of teachers and education teams.
The position will lead and support learning activities for educators, provide practical guidance through classroom and field visits, and help translate professional development into improved day-to-day practice. The Trainer/Coach will also contribute to identifying learning needs, tracking progress, sharing feedback, and working closely with project teams to ensure quality and consistency across activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, needs-based training for teachers and education personnel.
- Conduct classroom and field observations and provide practical coaching and constructive feedback.
- Support educators in applying new knowledge and skills in their daily practice.
- Identify professional development needs and provide appropriate follow-up and support.
- Use observation and monitoring findings to track progress and inform training and coaching.
- Maintain records and contribute to reports, lessons learned, and program improvement.
- Coordinate with the Education Professional Development Manager, Project Manager, and relevant teams to ensure alignment with project objectives and quality standards.
- Build positive and professional relationships with educators, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; postgraduate degree is an asset.
- Relevant teaching experience and experience in teacher training, coaching, or adult education.
- Strong knowledge of learner-centered, inclusive, and effective teaching approaches.
- Experience in classroom observation, coaching, and providing constructive feedback.
- Ability to use data and evidence to inform training and professional development.
- Strong communication, facilitation, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use relevant educational resources and technologies.
- Knowledge of the geographical context and needs.
