About the Role
We are looking for a Voice and Collaboration Engineer to join our international Voice & Collaboration team. You will work across the full project lifecycle — deployment, integrations, troubleshooting, and post-launch support — supporting clients across the U.S. and MENA region.
Work Schedule
This role follows U.S. working hours with a flexible work schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Voice & Collaboration
· Design, deploy, and support UC solutions using 3CX, Microsoft Teams Phone, and Zoom Phone.
· Configure PBX systems, SBCs, call routing, IVR, and multi-site environments.
· Support migrations from legacy platforms such as Cisco UCM/Unity Connection to modern cloud and
hybrid solutions.
· Provision and troubleshoot IP phones, softphones, and paging systems.
Infrastructure & Troubleshooting
· Manage voice services across Linux and Windows environments.
· Deploy and support voice solutions across AWS, Azure, and on-premises infrastructure.
· Troubleshoot voice and network issues using logs, packet captures, and tools such as Wireshark.
· Work with firewalls, DNS, VLANs, QoS, SSL/TLS certificates, and other network components supporting
voice services.
Integrations & Client Delivery
· Develop and support API integrations between voice platforms and CRM, helpdesk, and business
applications.
· Coordinate with telecom carriers on SIP trunks, number porting, account provisioning, and SMS, MMS,
and Fax services.
· Participate in client discovery and technical consultation calls.
· Prepare clear technical documentation and solution designs.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a
related technical field.
· 0-2 years of hands-on experience in VoIP, telephony, or unified communications.
· Experience with at least one UC platform such as 3CX, Microsoft Teams Phone, or Zoom Phone, or
other VoIP solutions.
· Solid understanding of SIP, RTP, DNS, QoS, VLANs, Gateways, and firewall configurations.
· Familiarity with Linux and Windows server environments.
· Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
· Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
· Strong written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate directly with international clients.
Nice to Have
· CCNA / CCNP / Firewall related certifications.
· 3CX Academy or Microsoft Teams Voice certifications.
· Experience with API integrations.
· Experience with Wireshark and packet analysis.
· Relevant internships, or academic project experience.
· Active involvement with Jordan's communications, telephony, and VoIP communities is a strong plus
— including IEEE Jordan Section, Jordan Engineers Association (JEA), New Horizons Jordan, NIIT
Jordan, or similar local telecom/VoIP interest groups and meetups.
