✈️ Maintenance Manager – GCAA CAR 145 MRO

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead aircraft maintenance and cabin maintenance / interior repair activities within our GCAA CAR 145 approved MRO.
The role will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient and compliant maintenance operations in accordance with GCAA CAR 145, MOE, approved maintenance data and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage aircraft maintenance and cabin maintenance/interior repair activities.
- Plan manpower, resources, work scopes and maintenance schedules to achieve on-time delivery.
- Ensure compliance with GCAA CAR 145, MOE and approved technical data.
- Oversee cabin maintenance including aircraft seats, seat covers, carpets, curtains, sidewalls, ceiling panels, monuments and cabin components, as applicable.
- Ensure compliance with applicable CMMs, AMMs, IPCs, SRMs, SBs, ADs and STCs.
- Ensure proper control of work packs, task cards, maintenance records, materials and component traceability.
- Lead and develop Certifying Staff, technicians and maintenance personnel.
- Ensure competency, authorisation and mandatory training requirements are maintained.
- Support GCAA, customer and internal audits and ensure timely closure of findings.
- Work closely with Quality, Safety, CAMO, customers and OEMs on technical and operational matters.
- Promote a strong safety and Just Culture, with airworthiness and safety taking priority.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of aviation maintenance experience, with 3–5 years in a supervisory/management role.
- Strong knowledge of GCAA CAR 145 and MRO operations.
- Mandatory hands-on experience in aircraft cabin maintenance/interior repair.
- Experience with aircraft cabin components, materials, approved data and maintenance records.
- Ability to interpret AMM, CMM, IPC, SRM, SB, AD and STC documentation.
- AML or equivalent aviation maintenance qualification preferred.
- Previous GCAA CAR 145 management/post-holder experience is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, planning, communication and regulatory compliance skills.
