Role Description The Tour Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. This role involves designing and managing tour itineraries, coordinating transportation, accommodation, and activities, and ensuring smooth execution of daily tour operations. The Tour Operator communicates with clients and travel partners, handles reservations and bookings, and provides accurate information about destinations, schedules, and services. Responsibilities include addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues before and during trips, preparing tour documentation, and collaborating with tour guides to deliver high-quality experiences. The role also involves promoting tours, supporting sales efforts, and maintaining detailed records to ensure efficient and reliable service.
Qualifications
- * Strong knowledge and experience in Travel & Tourism, including Egyptian destinations, attractions, and cultural sites.
- Proficiency in organizing Guided Tours and coordinating with tour guides and local service providers.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with the ability to handle inquiries, feedback, and problem resolution professionally.
- Experience with Reservations and booking systems, including hotels, transportation, and excursion management.
- Basic Sales skills to promote tour packages, upsell services, and support company revenue goals.
- Good verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in English is required, additional languages are an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and reliability under pressure.
- Ability to work on-site in Cairo, collaborate in a team environment, and maintain a customer-focused attitude.
- Previous experience in a tour operator or travel agency role is preferred; relevant diploma or degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is beneficial.
