Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Tax Accountant, based in Qesm 1st 6 October, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Tax Accountant will manage day-to-day tax compliance activities, including preparing and reviewing tax returns, supporting tax filings, and ensuring adherence to local and international tax regulations. The role involves analyzing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate tax records to support audits and internal reviews. The Tax Accountant will collaborate with the accounting team to optimize tax positions, assist with tax planning, and respond to tax authority inquiries. The position also includes preparing regular reports, documenting processes, and recommending improvements to strengthen Bibtex’s overall financial and tax controls.
Qualifications
Strong tax knowledge, including Tax and Tax Compliance, with a clear understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
Hands-on experience in Tax Preparation, including calculating liabilities, preparing returns, and supporting tax audits.
Proficiency in Accounting and financial reporting, with the ability to interpret and work with Financial Statements.
Relevant academic background, such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience with accounting and tax software, strong Excel skills, and attention to detail in numerical analysis.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, maintain confidentiality, and manage multiple deadlines.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, or equivalent) and prior experience in manufacturing or international business are beneficial.
