Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Kuwait City Metropolitan Area for a Supervisor, Waiter, and Barista. The Supervisor oversees daily restaurant operations, coordinates staff schedules, ensures adherence to service and quality standards, and handles guest feedback or escalations. Waiters manage table service, take orders, deliver food and beverages, maintain cleanliness in the dining area, and ensure guests have a smooth and pleasant experience. Baristas prepare and serve coffee and other beverages, maintain equipment, manage inventory at the beverage station, and ensure consistent product quality. All team members collaborate to maintain hygiene standards, follow safety guidelines, support opening and closing procedures, and contribute to a positive, professional work environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in restaurant or café operations, with prior responsibility in supervision, customer service, or front-of-house roles.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, including the ability to manage guest interactions, resolve issues, and work effectively with diverse teams.
- Hands-on skills in table service and beverage preparation, including taking orders accurately, serving food and drinks, and preparing coffee and other café-style beverages.
- Ability to follow and enforce hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety standards, including cleanliness, proper handling, and equipment care.
- Organizational and leadership abilities, such as coordinating shifts, supporting staff training, and helping maintain smooth daily operations.
- Basic numeracy and point-of-sale (POS) system familiarity for handling bills, payments, and simple inventory checks.
- Reliability and flexibility to work full-time schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by restaurant operations.
- Previous experience in the Kuwait City Metropolitan Area or knowledge of local food preferences and customs is an advantage.
