MakinMasr for Contracting is Hiring | Concrete & Steel Design Engineer
Location: Nasr city, Cairo
MakinMasr is seeking a motivated Concrete & Steel Design Engineer to support structural design tasks for our construction and industrial projects, working closely with senior engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in designing reinforced concrete and steel structural elements (foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and steel frameworks).
Carry out structural load calculations using design software (ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, or similar) under senior engineer supervision.
Prepare structural drawings and shop drawings, and assist in reviewing technical specifications.
Calculate steel reinforcement and concrete quantities (BOQ) for cost estimation and procurement.
Apply Egyptian Code requirements for concrete and steel design in all design work.
Support site engineers and the technical office in resolving design-related queries during execution.
Maintain organized records of design calculations, drawings, and revisions.
Requirements:
B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, specialization in Structural Engineering / Concrete and Steel Design.
2 years of experience in structural design, preferably within the construction or industrial sectors.
Good proficiency in structural design software (ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, AutoCAD).
Good knowledge of Egyptian Code requirements for concrete and steel design.
Good command of English (written and spoken).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with willingness to learn.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple design tasks.
