Role Description
The Sr. Architecture Technical Office Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Giza, responsible for supporting the design, coordination, and technical documentation of architectural works across KORRA’s projects. This role includes preparing and reviewing architectural drawings, shop drawings, and technical submittals, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. The engineer will coordinate with project managers, site teams, and other disciplines to resolve design issues, support integration between architectural and electromechanical systems, and provide technical guidance during execution. Daily tasks also involve conducting design reviews, participating in value engineering activities, updating as-built documentation, and supporting tender and procurement processes with accurate technical data. The role requires proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders to maintain project timelines, quality, and safety standards.
Qualifications
- 5 - 7 Years Experience in Architecture with experience in technical office work for construction or industrial projects.
- Proficiency in Architectural Design, including creating and reviewing detailed drawings, shop drawings, and layouts.
- Effective Communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and consultants.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture Engineering; advanced certifications in architectural design or project coordination are an advantage.
- Proficiency in relevant design and CAD/BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent) and strong technical documentation skills.
- Knowledge of local building codes, standards, and construction practices in Egypt, especially for industrial and energy-related projects.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site, manage multiple tasks, and support project deadlines with attention to detail and quality.
