Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Amman for a Spanish Speaking Tour Guide & Marketing Specialist. The role involves leading guided tours in Spanish and English, sharing accurate and engaging information about Jordan’s history, culture, and key sites, and ensuring guests feel welcome, safe, and informed throughout their visit. The team member will coordinate daily tour logistics, manage schedules, and collaborate with local partners and internal operations staff to deliver smooth experiences. In addition, the role includes supporting marketing activities such as creating Spanish-language promotional content, assisting with social media and online campaigns, and contributing ideas to attract Spanish-speaking markets. The position requires proactive communication with clients and colleagues, handling inquiries, and promoting additional services and tours when appropriate.
Qualifications
- * Strong guided tours skills, including experience leading groups and providing engaging, accurate commentary at cultural and historical sites.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport, manage diverse group dynamics, and respond calmly to guest needs.
- Solid knowledge of Jordanian history, culture, and geography, or willingness and ability to learn quickly and continuously update information.
- Sales skills relevant to upselling tours and services, supporting promotional campaigns, and contributing to revenue growth.
- Native or near-native Spanish fluency and strong English proficiency; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- Experience or strong interest in travel, tourism, or hospitality; prior work as a tour guide or in a customer-facing travel role is preferred.
- Basic marketing skills, such as creating content for social media, supporting digital campaigns, and collaborating on promotional materials.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and to spend extended periods on-site and on tours.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and professional conduct when representing the company to international travelers and partners.
- Relevant education in tourism, hospitality, marketing, or related fields is beneficial but not strictly required.
