Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Site Architect role based in Cairo, Egypt. The Site Architect will oversee the execution of architectural designs on construction sites, ensuring alignment with approved drawings, specifications, building codes, and quality standards. Responsibilities include coordinating with contractors, consultants, and suppliers; reviewing shop drawings; and resolving design-related issues that arise during construction. The role involves conducting regular site inspections, documenting progress, identifying risks, and recommending corrective actions when needed. The Site Architect will collaborate closely with the design team to integrate design intent with practical site conditions and support project documentation, reporting, and schedule adherence.
Qualifications
* Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with experience translating design intent into buildable, code-compliant solutions.
* Experience in Project Management, including planning, coordination with stakeholders, and monitoring timelines, budgets, and quality on active construction sites.
* Familiarity with Integration between design and technical disciplines (e.g., structural, MEP) to resolve clashes and ensure coordinated documentation.
* Comfort working with Software Development concepts or digital tools (e.g., BIM, CAD, collaboration platforms) to improve workflows and site coordination.
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture or a closely related field.
* Proficiency in architectural software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and strong technical drawing review skills.
* Knowledge of construction methods, materials, site safety practices, and applicable building regulations.
* Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and site stakeholders.
* Ability to work primarily on site, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail under time constraints.
