Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Shoes and Bags Restoration role based in Doha, Qatar. The role involves inspecting shoes and bags for damage and wear, assessing appropriate restoration techniques, and performing cleaning, color touch-ups, repairs, and conditioning. Daily tasks include preparing items for treatment, using specialized tools and products, documenting work performed, and ensuring each item meets quality standards before return to customers. The role also requires maintaining a clean and organized workspace, following safety and eco-friendly guidelines, and communicating clearly with colleagues and supervisors about job status and customer requirements. Occasional direct interaction with customers to explain restoration options and care recommendations may be required.
Qualifications
* Practical skills in cleaning, repairing, and restoring shoes and bags, including handling different materials such as leather, suede, fabric, and synthetics.
* Attention to detail and quality control skills to ensure precise color matching, finishing, and overall appearance of restored items.
* Basic customer service and communication skills to discuss services, timelines, and care instructions in a clear and professional manner.
* Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple items, meet deadlines, and follow standard operating procedures.
* Ability to work safely with cleaning products and tools, adhering to eco-friendly and workplace safety guidelines.
* Prior experience in shoe or bag repair, leather care, tailoring, or related fields is an advantage.
