Our client is a Family Office of the founders of a large and diversified business conglomerate. In a move to enhance their Investment Governance they are seeking a senior Investment Committee member, to offer guidance and counsel on investment strategy and allocation. The Family Office was set up as an investment vehicle to both maximise return on the existing and newly generated assets, provide capital preservation, diversify from risk.
Background & Experience
- Experience in global public equity markets, ideally as a former CIO, Portfolio Manager, or Head of Equities at a leading asset management firm, sovereign wealth fund, or endowment.
- Demonstrated expertise in equity research, portfolio construction, risk management, and long-term investment strategy.
- Direct experience managing both developed and emerging market equities, with exposure to multiple geographies (North America, Europe, Asia, and MENA if possible).
- Strong track record of delivering risk-adjusted returns across market cycles, with deep understanding of factor investing, active vs. passive allocation, and ESG integration.

- Collaborative and communicative, able to translate complex equity market dynamics into clear insights for non-professional family members.
Role on Committee
- Provide strategic guidance on the family’s equity allocation and manager selection.
- Advise on geographic and sector exposures, macroeconomic considerations, and downside risk mitigation.
- Contribute independent perspectives on public market dynamics to balance private investments and other alternatives.
