Role Description The Senior Financial Analyst is a full-time remote role responsible for providing data-driven financial insights to support strategic decision-making. This position involves preparing and analyzing financial statements, developing forecasts and budgets, and performing variance and trend analyses across key performance metrics. The Senior Financial Analyst will create and maintain financial models, support monthly and quarterly reporting cycles, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business initiatives. The role includes preparing clear presentations for leadership, recommending improvements to financial processes, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant standards. The analyst will also contribute to long-term financial planning and risk assessments to strengthen overall financial performance.
Qualifications
* Strong Finance and Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
* Hands-on experience with Financial Planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
* Proficiency in working with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including variance and trend analysis.
* Advanced skills in Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is beneficial.
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
* Experience in a senior or lead analyst role, preferably within a corporate or consulting environment.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to present findings to non-financial stakeholders clearly and concisely.
* Detail-oriented, able to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
