Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and client-facing Senior Cyber Security Professional Services Engineer to join our growing cybersecurity practice. In this role, you will act as the technical pillar for designing, deploying, integrating, and troubleshooting enterprise-grade cybersecurity solutions for our diverse portfolio of enterprise, telecommunications, banking, and government clients across the Egyptian market.
You will work on the front lines of a System Integrator, managing multiple complex project lifecycles from proof-of-concept (PoC) and architecture design to final handover and post-implementation support.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Delivery & Implementation
- Lead the end-to-end deployment, configuration, and integration of multi-vendor cybersecurity solutions (e.g., Next-Gen Firewalls, SIEM/SOAR, EDR/XDR, Identity & Access Management, WAF, and Cloud Security).
- Translate complex client business requirements into robust, scalable technical architecture and High/Low-Level Designs (HLD/LLD).
- Ensure seamless integration of deployed security tools with clients’ existing legacy infrastructure, network fabrics, and IT operations.
2. Client Consultation & Technical Advocacy
- Act as a trusted technical advisor and client advocate during demo and POC scoping, workshops, and project kickoff phases.
- Conduct security assessment readiness, gap analyses, and compliance-driven implementation workflows mapped to international standards (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI-DSS) and local regulatory frameworks (e.g., FRA, CBE guidelines where applicable).
- Deliver official technical presentations, knowledge-transfer sessions, and operational handover to client internal IT and security teams.
3. Project & Lifecycle Management
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Account Managers, and vendor partners to ensure project milestones, billable utilization targets, and deliverables are met on time and within scope.
- Produce comprehensive documentation, including As-Built documentation, configuration baselines, test scripts, and administrator runbooks.

Troubleshoot complex deployment bottlenecks, perform root-cause analysis on integration roadblocks, and technical support issues.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Educational & Professional Background
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Communications, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 5 to 8 years of cyber security experience, strictly focused on cybersecurity implementation/consulting within a System Integrator, Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP), or vendor environment.
Technical Competencies (Hands-on Expertise)
- Deep configuration and troubleshooting experience in most of the following domains:
- Network Security: Next-Generation Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Forcepoint, Cisco), Secure Web Gateways, and WAF/DDoS mitigation.
- Threat Detection & Response: SIEM / SOAR platforms (Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, IBM QRadar) and EDR/XDR tools (CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, SentinelOne).
- Identity & Access Management (IAM): Active Directory hardening, Privileged Access Management (CyberArk, BeyondTrust), or cloud identity systems (Azure AD / Entra ID).
- Cloud Security: Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) / ZTNA frameworks (Zscaler, Netskope).
- Solid background of routing/switching, TCP/IP networking, packet analysis (Wireshark), and Linux/Unix operating systems.
Certifications (Highly Preferred)
- Industry-recognized professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP will be great add-on but not a mandatory requirement.
- Vendor-certified expert levels (e.g., Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), Fortinet NSE 7/8, Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert, or equivalent SIEM/IAM specialized credentials).
Soft Skills & Market Requirements
- High command of English (written and spoken) is essential for dealing with local enterprise and governmental stakeholders.
- Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical business leaders.
- High adaptability, strong self-discipline, and capability to manage multiple customer projects simultaneously under minimal supervision.
- Flexibility for occasional local or regional travel for on-site client deployments.
