Job Title: Senior Accountant - SAUDI

Reports to: Accounting Manager / Finance Director
Key Responsibilities:
- General Accounting:
- Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform account reconciliations, general ledger entries, and adjustments.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare internal management reports and support external audit requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS (or applicable accounting standards) and internal policies.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Oversee processing of vendor invoices and customer billing.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable aging and follow up as needed.
- Tax and Compliance:
- Assist in preparing VAT, zakat, and other regulatory filings (adaptable based on country laws).
- Support statutory audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for improving accounting processes and controls.
- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Team Support and Supervision:
- Mentor and review work performed by junior accountants.
- Coordinate with other departments for cross-functional accounting needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance
- Minimum 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis).
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
