Role Description The Scaffolding Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Riffa. This position is responsible for overseeing the planning, erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures in accordance with safety regulations and project requirements. Day-to-day tasks include supervising scaffolding teams, assigning work, monitoring progress, and inspecting scaffolding to ensure structural integrity and safe access for all site personnel. The supervisor will coordinate with site management and other trades, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure compliance with fall protection and working-at-height standards. The role also involves training team members on safe work practices, reporting hazards or incidents, and supporting continuous improvement in scaffolding operations.
Qualifications
* Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, task allocation, and performance monitoring.
* Candidates should possess solid Scaffolding expertise, including planning, erection, modification, and safe Dismantling of structures.
* Candidates should possess proven Working at Height experience and knowledge of Fall Protection practices, equipment, and regulations.
* Relevant industry certifications in scaffolding and working at height are highly beneficial.
* Demonstrated commitment to safety, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance in industrial environments.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, site plans, and method statements.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary site teams.
* Previous experience as a scaffolding supervisor or senior scaffolder in an industrial or construction setting is preferred.
