Role Description
The Quality Control Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Sahab. This role is responsible for testing and evaluating ink products throughout the production process, including sampling raw materials, in-process batches, and finished goods to ensure they meet defined quality specifications and ISO standards. Daily tasks include operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, documenting test results, identifying deviations, and collaborating with production and quality assurance teams to resolve issues. The technician will prepare reports, update quality records, and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product consistency and process reliability. The role also involves following safety procedures, maintaining a clean and organized lab environment, and supporting audits and compliance activities.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills, including familiarity with standardized testing protocols and documentation practices.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills, such as interpreting test data, troubleshooting quality issues, and drawing evidence-based conclusions.
- Candidates should possess practical Laboratory Skills, including sample preparation, handling chemicals safely, and following lab procedures.
- It is preferable if candidates possess experience working with Laboratory Equipment, such as viscosity meters, spectrophotometers, and other testing instruments relevant to inks and coatings.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in inks, coatings, or chemical manufacturing; knowledge of ISO-9001 and ISO-14001 standards; strong attention to detail; and effective communication skills.
- A diploma or degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or a related technical field is preferred, along with the ability to work on-site in Sahab and collaborate in a team-oriented environment.

- Candidates should have an eye for details and detect errors and deviations of the current batch from the standard samples pretty swiftly.
Salary:
The salary will be determined according to the level of experience and at the discretion of the technical manager who will be interviewed if you are selected.
