We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our Technology department in our Erbil office, working across our full commerce stack — mobile apps, PWA storefront, REST APIs, ERP, and our marketplace.

About the Role
The QA Engineer will own quality across our commerce ecosystem, working closely with our Mobile, Frontend, and Backend tech leads to ensure every release meets the highest standard before reaching our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Design, write, and maintain test cases and test plans for new features and regression cycles
Perform manual and exploratory testing of Android and iOS applications across various devices and OS versions
Execute functional and UI testing of the PWA storefront across different browsers and screen sizes
Conduct API testing (REST) — request/response validation, status codes, payload schemas, error handling, and authentication
Verify end-to-end flows across integrated systems (storefront → backend → ERP)
Log, track, and verify defects in Jira with clear reproduction steps and severity classifications
Perform release sign-off and regression testing before each production deployment
Collaborate with developers and the PM to clarify acceptance criteria before development begins
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
2+ years of hands-on software QA experience
Proven experience testing mobile applications on both Android and iOS
Experience testing web applications and PWAs across various browsers and responsive breakpoints
Solid working knowledge of REST API testing using tools like Postman
Clear understanding of HTTP fundamentals, JSON, and client-server architecture
Experience with defect-tracking tools (Jira preferred) and Agile/Scrum sprint workflows
Strong analytical skills, sharp attention to detail, and professional written English
Preferred Qualifications
Test automation experience (Appium, Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or REST Assured)
Experience testing e-commerce platforms (Magento or similar)
Familiarity with ERP or third-party system integrations
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and running tests as part of a build
Exposure to performance or security testing
Must have fluency in English, Kurdish and/or Arabic
Salary Range: 800-1000 USD
