My client is a leading EPC contractor with an excellent reputation a track record of working on major oil and gas projects in the middle east region. They are currently working on a major pipeline construction project and are looking to recruit an experienced project controls engineer to be based a Jebel Dhana, Abu Dhabi. The role will involve the following;
- Drafts project-specific Project Controls Procedures as per contract requirements.
- Participates in preparing Project internal and external reports in the required format.
- Initiates, coordinates and maintains Project List(s) of Deliverables including those for project procedures and plans, engineering, procurement, material submittals, method statements etc.
- Puts together procurement packages including quantities take-off, contract specifications and technical requirements, delivery schedule etc.
- Initiates and maintains Procurement Status Register.
- Prepares and maintains Subcontractors Register.
- Assists in drafting subcontract agreements and negotiating subcontract prices.
- Assists in subcontracts administration and related correspondences, measurements, payment certification, closing final account etc.
- Coordinates and maintains Engineering Deliverables Status Register.
- Prepares a List of Project Materials along with the required quantities and maintains a continuous project materials reconciliation.
Candidates should have engineering degree and should have experience of working as a project controls engineer on major EPC oil and gas construction projects in the middle east.
