About the Role
As a Private Market Investment Manager, you will actively support the implementation of the Arab Invest private market investment strategy, by sourcing, evaluating, leading the end-to-end execution process of selected transactions across direct and co-investments, private equity funds and private credit funds and other alternative investments asset class. You will also support portfolio companies value creation initiatives and mentor junior investment professionals.

Responsibilities
- Keep abreast with the latest market and macro-economic developments, and evolution of the private equity/ private credit industry in the Arab World and globally
- Source and screen direct and funds investment opportunities
- Lead financial, commercial, and valuation analysis for complex transactions
- Lead due diligence processes end-to-end
- Develop investment thesis, structure transactions and negotiate transaction terms and definitive documentation
- Prepare high-quality investment memoranda and present recommendations to internal committees
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders including investment partners, co-investors, advisors and market participants
- Oversee portfolio management activities including monitoring financial performance, governance participation, and value creation initiatives
- Support portfolio companies through strategic oversight and board-level engagement where applicable
- Contribute to exit planning for portfolio companies
- Mentor and review the work of analysts and senior analysts, ensuring analytical rigor and professional development
- Contribute to departmental policies, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7-9 years of experience in private equity, private credit, investment banking, or corporate development
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline
- MBA, CFA, CAIA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred
Required Technical Skills
- Strong deal execution experience
- Ability to lead workstreams independently with commercial judgement and structuring capability
- Strong communication skills and ability to mentor junior team members
- Fluent in Arabic and English
