Role Description This full-time, on-site Pharmacist role is based in Luxor and supports safe, effective, and ethical medication use within the university’s clinical and educational settings. The Pharmacist will dispense medications, verify prescriptions, and provide clear, evidence-based counseling to patients and students on proper drug use, side effects, and interactions. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate pharmacy records, managing inventory, ensuring proper storage of medications, and adhering to regulatory and institutional policies. The role also involves collaborating with healthcare providers and academic staff on treatment plans, contributing to quality improvement initiatives, and participating in health education activities aligned with the university’s sustainability mission. The Pharmacist is expected to uphold high professional standards and support a culture of continuous learning and patient-centered care.
Qualifications
- Professional pharmacy expertise, including strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and medication safety practices.
- Ability to accurately dispense, verify, and document prescriptions, with attention to detail and regulatory compliance.
