Role Description The Owner role at Raja Company W.L.L. is a full-time, on-site position based in the Kuwait City Metropolitan Area, responsible for overall strategic direction and stewardship of the company. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting business priorities, overseeing operations across departments, and ensuring that products and services meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The Owner leads key commercial decisions, builds and maintains relationships with major clients, suppliers, and partners, and drives growth initiatives in existing and new business verticals. This role also involves guiding senior managers, fostering a culture of integrity and innovation, overseeing financial performance, and ensuring that the company’s vision and mission are reflected in customer experience and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience guiding senior teams and shaping organizational culture.
- Proven strategic planning and business development capabilities, including setting long-term goals and executing growth initiatives.
- Sound financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and overall P&L responsibility.
- Background in retail, industrial, or Oil & Gas sectors, with understanding of safety, engineering, and supply chain considerations.
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and partnership-building skills with customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Clear and effective communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in the Kuwait City Metropolitan Area and commit to full-time, hands-on ownership responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; advanced qualifications or equivalent experience in leading a company are highly beneficial.
