We’re Hiring | Operations Manager – Shipping & Freight Forwarding
Flash Cargo Logistics is looking for an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to lead and manage our shipping and freight forwarding operations.
Job Requirements:
• 5–8 years of experience in Operations, specifically in Shipping and Freight Forwarding.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of shipping and freight forwarding operations.
• Very good English communication skills (spoken & written).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage and coordinate an operations team effectively.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.

Preference will be given to candidates living in or near Heliopolis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and supervise daily shipping and freight forwarding operations.
• Lead, coordinate, and support the Operations team.
• Monitor shipments from booking until final delivery.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, transporters, and clients.
• Ensure shipments are handled accurately and on time.
• Solve operational issues and follow up on delays or exceptions.
• Monitor team performance and operational KPIs.
• Improve operational processes and workflow efficiency.
• Maintain strong communication with clients and internal departments.
• Prepare and review operational reports when required.
